Funky Fitness and Fun is all about having fun whilst learning vital skills to gain independence, self esteem, confidence and better well-being.
All our staff and volunteers have enhanced DBS checks and are kept up to date with any relevent training courses that may assist them in their role whilst providing support.
When necessary staff use a multitude of skills and techniques such as intensive interaction, talking mats, soundbeam, drama therapy and more to assist understanding and communication within the group. We give our members our full attention at all times and maintain high standards of care and support.
Over the years we have provided some truely amazing experiences for everyone at Funky Fitness and Fun, staff, volunteers and members alike. We continually provide a wide range of activities from relaxing doing a calm meditation, painting, canoeing, music, dance, various sessions of fitness work including hit training, zumba etc, walking, bowling, safety awareness including police and fire service visits, gardening, woodwork, french classes, music and many more.
